This plant is a species of sedge. It is native to Australia and New Zealand, where it grows in wetlands.
It is very small, reaching only a few centimetres in height. The stems are light green and slightly curved.
It is suitable for the front of the tank, and looks good in a rocky setting. It can form a lawn effect across the base of the tank.It is an undemanding plant, and is suitable for beginners.
